First Dental Visit
Your first visit is all about you - Your comfort, your happiness, and to aid you in developing a strategy for lifelong dental health.
Your first visit with Dr. Colpitts includes:
- A thorough review of your dental and medical history.
- Complete X-rays of your teeth and mouth.
- A detailed oral exam including an assessment of how you bite and chew; an oral cancer exam; charting of missing teeth and existing restorations, noting any problems and concerns.
- A hygienist will then do a thorough periodontal exam, take appropriate photographs, and clean your teeth.
Once Dr. Colpitts and his team have developed an understanding of your needs, wants and current conditions you will be provided a dental consultation with a treatment plan that caters to your individual requirements. During this time Dr. Colpitts will also answer any questions you may have. Dr. Robert Colpitts and his staff welcome any questions you may have, and are always available to listen to your concerns.
Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these things with you to your first dental appointment:
- Your completed Forms
- Your insurance card if applicable
