I worked for Dr. Colpitts as a dental assistant for six years before returning to school in 2008 to obtain my dental hygiene degree and certification. As a native of Reno, I have enjoyed all the outdoor opportunities where we live gives us. You may see me hiking with my dog Cooper.

You can call me a true Truckee native. While I was born and raised here, I ventured to Sonoma County for dental hygiene school. I value providing quality, gentle care to our patients, while making them feel comfortable while at the dentist. My goal is to serve our patients, and help them to understand the connection between a healthy mouth and their overall health. The result offering a healthier, more rewarding lifestyle. I enjoy going on walks, scrapbooking, cooking delicious meals, going to concerts and hanging out with my family and friends.

The average adult changes their career 5 times.  I am not one of them.  I have a long history and experience in holistic dentistry.  That is where my heart is.  I genuinely care for people and I am a very positive person.  It is important for me to work in a positive, caring environment with an excellent dentist and staff.  I am a newer  member to the dental team at Sierra Crest Dental.   Dr. Colpitts has a long standing and excellent reputation in the dental field,  I have known him and his philosophies for years.  When asked by friends about finding a dentist my advice is to find a dental office where you are comfortable; with a top notch dentist who emphasizes your total health and individual needs.  I am originally from Reno, where I still reside.  I have a son who is the light of my life!  Our family has 2 dogs - they are so spoiled.  I love gourmet cooking, yoga and mountain bike riding.

I found my home in the dental field 5 years ago. My background prior to dentistry was as a cosmetologist. I find it fascinating that everyone has a different smile, each their own. I enjoy being part of a Team that provides personalized care enhancing your smile.

I grew up in Sierraville and love summer on my family’s ranch roping cows. When not in the office you’ll find me spending time with my son Mason and dog Harley.

Yes, that is an accent you hear! Prior to relocating toReno I lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, originally from Virginia. I have found a new dental home here at Sierra Crest Dental bringing with me my 19 years of dental experience. I have an awesome son, Josh, who just graduated from college.

I truly enjoy helping our patients achieve the smile they have always wanted and the reward of the relationships we develop. I am looking forward to skiing again, I enjoy yoga and taking long walks. You may find me at the piano: I’ve played classical music since I was 5 years old.

I am here for our patients and staff. I love getting to know our patients, surprising them with unexpected care and learning from them as well. My favorite experiences are seeing a patient's smile upon completion of care, feeling their confidence and happiness.

I have provided front office duties on and off for many years, and am still learning new ways to improve your experience. I am a native of California, raised in San Anselmo. I have lived in Squaw Valley for 24 years where my husband and I raised our family of three.
